About Zoysia grass
Zoysia grass is a warm-season grass that grows in tropical, sub-tropical and the transition zones. It is a fine-textured grass that spreads by both stolons and rhizomes. It has excellent heat, drought and traffic tolerance. It is best adapted to full sun but will tolerate some shade. It is susceptible to winter injury in the transition zone and is not recommended for areas north of the transition zone.
